Milton Programs

Milton Youth Lacrosse announces the addition of two new programs for our youngest players.

The WeeLax program will be for Pre K & Kindergarten (5-6 year old) boys & girls & the Little Laxers program for 1st & 2nd  grade boys.  Both programs are open to Milton residents as well as children that attend Milton Academy, St. Agathas, or St Mary's schools.

Fall and Spring Offerings. Please visit each program page for details and registration.

Milton Youth Lacrosse has contracted with CroART Sports to provide administration, coaching & insurance for these new programs.  CroART has been a local leader in lacrosse instruction for the last decade - especially at the youngest levels.  CroART has partnered with numerous town programs (e.g. Quincy, Winchester, Burlington) to build out their very successful beginner programs.

Both programs will require no equipment, be non-contact, played with mini sticks/soft balls, and provide a fun introduction to the world of lacrosse for children.  The programs combine a Lacrosse curriculum featuring on gross motor skills, fundamental ball skills, footwork, sport terminology and fitness components. Our aim is to create a passion for the sport of lacrosse that a child will have for the rest of their life.

The cost per participant is $100 and includes: A shirt, stick & ball.  Returning players the program cost is $80 unless you are moving up from WeeLax to Little Laxer. No other equipment is required.

Please note: The Little Laxers program is in addition to the existing Boys U9 program and offers a 'lighter' option for 1st & 2nd grade boys.  The U9 program requires full equipment and consists of two practices and one game per week against other towns.
