  • Host events that will help athletes showcase their ability and gain exposure while competing against area competition.
  • Host Combines for New England area Public, Prep school athletes as well as Post Graduate and Junior College players.
  • Focus on NCAA clearinghouse and academic awareness.
  • Provide guidance through the recruiting process for parents and the athlete.
  • Offseason training services like Animal house training will be provided.
  • 7 on 7 winter, spring and summer passing leagues, that will give players an outlet to perfect their game while having a competitive setting.
  • We will provide athletes with advice on how to be marketable to a recruiter or scout through camp attendance, combines and highlight reel assistance.

The idea of this type of program excites me. I would have loved to have something like this when I was in High School. To have an opportunity to hone my skills and showcase my abilities would have helped develop my game in so many ways. I know the kids will love getting out there to compete against area competition and not having to wait till the fall. To have something like this available, all in one setting will be an invaluable asset for the players. The programs that 1st String Performance will provide, would have helped me ten fold with better exposure during my recruiting process. Being able to learn how to read defenses and terminology of today’s game are necessary for College Football success early on.

Coming from having no help and no one believing in me but immediate family. Coach Croom recognized what I had and did all he could to help me. When he tells you he will do what he can, he is going to do it, he isn't a guy you have to chase for answers. It was  great getting to know Coach Croom and I encourage everyone to definetly pay attention to what he has to say.

I would just like to thank you for all the help you have given me, because of your help I am now almost to where I want to be and that is at the Division 1 level. You know a lot about the game of football and you have told me and taught me a lot of things. I would also like to thank you about your help with school itself, in order to play football I need the grades and you have told me that is the most important thing many times. You are a good person for helping all of the kids that you are helping. They will not be dissapointed

I would like to thank you for going out of your way to help me with football. I can tell your very passionate for the game of football just as much as I am. Unlike many other people I have known, you help me keep my head up during times I want to look down. Its great to know theres good people out there like you who want to help others succeed. I want you to know that I appreciate everything you do for me. Not just for me but for others as well. The letter you wrote to coach Devine gave me a lot of motivation. I cannot thank you enough for that one. Your a great guy and I'm always in your corner -

I'm glad Ive got the chance to meet coach Croom this year. He knows a lot about football, recruiting, and the process to get to the next level. If you need help getting out film or any material he has no problem helping you. Some coaches expect you to contact them for help but Coach Croom stays on top of you and makes sure you're doing what you have to. His belief in giving back to the community is tremendous and is definitely someone to lean on.

This program will prepare you for your future in the College game. It will give you confidence and bolster future success on and off the field. During my senior year of High School I was completely lost in the recruiting process. My only option was to go to prep school. With something like 1st String Performance, this would have saved time and money. Programs like this would have better prepared me for the College game, 1st String Provides exposure that would otherwise not be available.

The process of football recruiting can be very difficult, especially in Massachusetts. Even though I am 6’9” and 300 lbs, I received limited attention from college coaches when attending high school. Having someone like Will Croom of 1st String performance really opened many doors for me. Within a week of talking to Will I began receiving calls and emails from college coaches. There was a lot of interest from schools on the west coast as well as Western Michigan. I ended up deciding that a postgraduate year at Hargrave Military Academy was the best decision for me. Will Croom has been extremely professional and I will continue to work with him through my PG year.
