2019_20 MENS Winter League Format

 

Established to provide an opportunity for players to continue playing the great game of field lacrosse inside during the Winter. Our two (2) 70 x 40 yard fields allow for long poles and that true outdoor feel inside. If you are in a search for a league close to home come to Starland for a competitive lacrosse experience.

7 v 7 format with 2 attack, 3 midfielders, 2 defensemen and a goalie

2 long poles allowed on field

 

Wednesday nights game times are 7pm, 8pm and 9pm

Two Divisions

Mens Open 18 and Over

Mens Masters 30 and Over

 

December 4

Open Play 7pm – 8pm on the Turf

 

Captains Meeting & Player Draft

8pm – 9:30pm at the Draft Bar  

 

December 11,18,25,29, January 8,15,22,29, February 5, 12

 

 

Cost:

$150/per player or $1,600 a team (based on roster of 12) Teams provide uniforms, tanks can be purchased $15 per player.

 

December 4th

Open play 7pm - 8pm

Captains Meeting and player draft 8:00pm - 9:30pm.

 

December 9th - Schedule will be posted. Check the website and team page for scheduled games. You can also download the Sports Engine app for quick view of your games.

 

December 11th - Season starts.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Boys and Girls

Session 1 6 Weeks of games - November 24, December 1, 8, 15, 22, - 29 Finals and Consolation Games 

Session 2 6 Weeks of games - January 26, February 9, 16, March 1, 8 Finals and Consolation March 15

Games times 5:00pm – 8:00pm

 

Grades 1 & 2  - 5 v 5 format with 1 attack, 3 midfielders, 1 defensemen and no goalie
 

Grades 3 & 4 - 6 v 6 format with 1 attack, 3 midfielders, 1 defensemen and a goalie

 

Grades 5 & 6 - 6 v 6 format with 1 attack, 3 midfielders, 1 defensemen and a goalie

            2 long poles allowed on field for Boys Division

 

Grades 7 & 8 - 8 v 8 format with 2 attack, 3 midfielders, 2 defensemen and a goalie
                                                2 long poles allowed on field for Boys Division

 

Grades 9 – 12 - 8 v 8 format with 2 attack, 3 midfielders, 2 defensemen and a goalie

 2 long poles allowed on field for Boys Division

 

COST: based on 12 player roster REVERSIBLE TANK INCLUDED

$115/player or $1,200/team each session

$200/player or $2,000/team for both sessions
