It’s December in Massachusetts; snow has begun to fly, the Bruins, Patriots and Celtics are all playing at the same time, and above all it’s getting real chilly out there! December also means things are starting to heat up for the CroART family down at the Marina Bay Sportsplex in Quincy, MA. The 12-week Men’s league is underway and the 10-week Boys High School League is set to begin on Sunday January 5th! Now since this is an indoor league, things are a little different than your standard outdoor setup. The game is even more fast-paced and is played with a 6v6 format, this means quick passes, end-to-end goals and a lot of “Whoaaaa did you see that??” moments to be had.
I will be writing detailed game recaps each week so that you at home can get a sense of what we’re doing down at the Sportsplex every Wednesday so that while you rest up for the spring you’ll know exactly what type of competition and action you’ll be expecting when you step back on the field. I’d encourage all of you to leave comments and suggestions on what you’d like to hear and see each week so that we can make this experiencing as exciting for you to read as it is for us to play! Also keep an eye out for on-field videos and pictures throughout the season!
