About Our Program

After a great run in the summer of 2017, Team Lighthouse is back for it's second season. 2017 offered some intense competition against programs from around New England and New York, as the Lighthouse posted a 2-5 record while gaining exposure for our athletes. Each TLH member made significant strides, and were able to carry their momentum from the summer into their respective high school teams. The 2018 season will bring another slate of competitive and beneficial tournament play.

Our mission is to build an affordable program made up of and for kids living on the North Shore. We are working with area High Schools and Youth Programs in order to help young athletes excel in the sport of lacrosse and prepare them to not only elevate their game, but provide them with college readiness. We want all to be active participants of a team that promotes personal growth, team work and community values. We provide a setting that focuses on the whole athlete. This means we take a strengths based approach to an athletes' overall development as a player, person and teammate. We promise to work relentlessly to provide an unparalleled, high quality experience for athletes and their families at the lowest possible cost.

COACHES

Our coaches through our partner teams are seasoned veterans who all have NCAA lacrosse experience, and several are current or former NCAA and high school coaches. Our coaches are determined to help players improve their lacrosse skills, accelerate their playing abilities, and better prepare for them for the town and school season and hopefully beyond. Unlike similar summer programs, our coaches work on a voluntary basis,  with only the goal of growing the sport and helping players reach their potential.

Our staff across CroArt  programs throughout New England are made up of players and coaches from programs like Ohio State, UMass, Providence, Fairfield, Lasell, St Leo, Wheaton College, Mount Ida, Elms, Quinappiac, Harvard, Maryland, Towson, Plymouth State, Tufts, Coker, Boston College, Susquehanna and Hobart to name a few. We have a great balance of current and former players who are eager to teach those willing to learn the important tools they will need in the early stages of their lacrosse career.

Alongside coaching, our staff is dedicated to helping student-athletes off the field as well. By working closely with the team, our coaches will work as advisers, providing  support in the recruiting process. We promise to exhaust all available resources and act as valuable resources through the college application process in order to put our athletes in the best possible position to extend their career after high school.
