CroART Sports is proud to offer the NFL Flag Football Program to the Falmouth community for kids ages 4 to 15. 

The Spring Flag Football League starts May 10 and goes to June 21.

All games will be played on Friday Evenings 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at North Falmouth Elementary School.

 

Teams: COED teams will have 5 - 7 players

Format: 

HS Division (Pre K to K) - Format is 4 v 4

College Division (Grades K – 2) - Format is 5 v 5

Pro Division (Grades 3/4 – 5/6 - 7/8) - Format is 4 v 4

 

Dates:

May 10, 17, 31

June 7, 14, 21

 

Cost per player $125 

*Each team will need a coach for the season. Coaches will not be provided. Coaches get one child's fee waived per team coached.

NFL Team-Identified Reversible Jersey

Official NFL Flag Football Belt and Flags

About NFL Flag: NFL FLAG is the premier youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 5-14. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork.

Launched in 1996, the NFL FLAG Football program is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. Players learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field.

Rules

High School Division - 4 v 4 Format

College Division - 5 vs 5 Format

Pro Division - 4 v 4 Format

 

Scoring

  • Touchdown 7 pts.
  • 2 Pts for Safety (only can happen if QB backs into end one on a pass and is called for 4 seconds)

Offense

  • 4 downs per series.
  • No 1st downs, offense must score in 4 plays.
  • All players are eligible receivers.
  • Center must always snap the Football.
  • QB has 4 seconds to throw the Football, if ball is not thrown it will result in a sack loss of down and the ball will be placed where the QB stands.
  • QB can not run on passing plays.
  • Laterals and forward pitches are allowed.
  • No flag guarding or stiff arming.
  • No diving or jumping allowed to advance the Football.
  • Once the ball carrier falls down the play is dead.
  • No fumbles, the ball is blown dead once it hits the ground.
  • Downfield blocking is permitted, players must have hands on side or held in front like  a pick older players can have hands extended and block the waist to shoulder box area.
  • Only 1 foot needs to be down for a completion.
  • No kickoffs and punts are allowed and can be returned if caught.
  • No timeouts.
  • one 35 min game, running game time, clock doesn't stop!
  • Once the receivers flag comes off they are ineligible.
  • Offense has 5 seconds from huddle to get the play off.*refs don't have to warn offense of expiring time.

Defense

  • No stripping.
  • No chucking or forcing a player out of bounds.
  • No BLITZ".
  • Must be 5 yards off the line of scrimmage.
  • No grasping clothing or holding an offensive player back from forward progress.

General

  • All belts must be visible and off to the side.
  • All players must freeze in spot when the whistle blows
  • Any time a player is injured teams will huddle up on their coach.
  • Parents can volunteer for practice time to assist with drills. Games will be run by assigned coaches.
  • All players must have mouth guard in while playing.
  • All players must have team jersey and belt to play in game.

Football Skills and Development Program on Cape Cod

ACADEMY

Falmouth, Massachusetts

Monday July 15th to Thursday July 18th , 2019

Falmouth Academy 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth

 

The Cape Cod Football Academy is a no contact, no pads football program. The Academy is for boys and girls ages 7 to 17, led by CroART Sports coaching staff. The program provides one on one and group instruction for skilled positions, linemen, specialist and does not require any prior football experience. 

Our enthusiastic and experienced coaching staff bring cutting edge football skills and techniques to all our participants. Players are divided into positions/age/skill level appropriate groups. We maintain a moderate player-to-coach ratio for an optimal learning environment which emphasizes skills, technique and fun!

Full day participants will experience 7-on-7 Flag games each afternoon in jamboree format.

Program designed for ages 7 to 17 

all experience levels

 

8:00 am to 3:30 pm - Full Day Cost: $275  

8:00 am to 12:00 pm - Half Day Cost: $195

                                               

** All players will receive training by: High school, College coaches, current and former professional and collegiate players, custom performance shirt, Academy player evaluation, opportunity to win prizes, Academy awards on the last day of the program.
